Our client is a leading private banking institution in Southeast Asia, providing bespoke wealth management and investment advisory services to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients across the region.
Role Overview (For Candidates New to Private Banking)
This role sits within the Private Banking / Wealth Management business. The successful candidate will support the acquisition, management, and growth of affluent client portfolios by delivering holistic wealth solutions.
Private Banking professionals typically work with high-net-worth individuals on:
Investment advisory and portfolio construction
Wealth preservation and growth strategies
Treasury and structured product solutions
Cross-border wealth planning
The role combines client relationship management, investment discussion, and revenue generation responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Drive consistent growth in client portfolio size, assets under management (AUM), and revenue contribution
Acquire new-to-bank clients to expand the portfolio and diversify revenue streams
Support clients’ wealth management needs through appropriate product and investment discussions
Maintain strong ongoing relationships with clients to deepen wallet share
Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, MAS regulations, and suitability requirements
Collaborate with product specialists, investment advisors, and internal stakeholders to achieve team targets
Participate actively in team initiatives and contribute to overall business performance
Requirements
Degree holder, preferably in Banking, Finance, Business, or related disciplines
Either:
Minimum 2 years of experience within a Private Banking / Wealth Management platform OR
Minimum 5 years in Priority / Premier / Personal Client (PPC) banking with readiness to transition into Private Banking
Strong business and commercial acumen
Good interpersonal and client engagement skills
Strong organisational awareness and stakeholder management ability
High level of analytical and conceptual thinking
