Maintaining and administering the computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.

Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups/recover when required.

Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing security measures in accordance to best practises

Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other system problems.

Coordinate replacement of faulty hardware components with vendors when required.

Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.

Monitoring system performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.

Conferring with users about solving existing system problems.

Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of various systems.

Configuring and testing the systems

Responding to inquiries from users, IT peers, vendors and to provide technical assistance and support

Create system architecture diagram and documentation for design and planning interfaces with various communication systems.

Ensure control and compliance for the systems and servers related are available to only authorize users which follows policies and SOPs closely

Attending audit meetings and ensure proper documentation of all work done

Work as team with users and within IT for problem resolution

Vendor management

Establish/maintains customer relationship with partners or internal users to ensure complete understanding of business processes to enable the delivery of viable Infrastructure solution.

Responsible for providing leadership, advice and to line management on Infra & security. Its role also includes identifying risk and to recommend and develop corrective plans as appropriate.

Coordinate with any contractor/partners for interfacing matters

Perform regular backup/recovery test and any other compliance test where to ensure business continuity based on SOP

Job Requirements:

4-5 years on Hyper-V/Wondows Server/Linux

Familiar with HCI (Nutanix) or blade technology

System security

Ability to create accurate system architecture diagram and documentation for design and planning interfaces with various communication systems.

Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus

Work with vendors

Knowledge of system best practices

Basic networking knowledge
