A regional bank is seeking an Investment Counsellor to support its Private Wealth platform in Singapore. This role focuses on portfolio construction, asset allocation advisory and investment product adoption, while supporting Relationship Managers in delivering high-quality investment advice and execution to private wealth clients.

This is a high-visibility role within a growing private banking platform, working closely with Relationship Managers, investment teams and regional stakeholders to shape portfolio strategies, promote house views and drive product penetration across client portfolios.

This opportunity offers strong regional exposure within a growing private wealth platform, with total remuneration of up to S$180,000.

Responsibilities

• Lead the asset allocation and portfolio management process, constructing and maintaining portfolios aligned with client risk profiles and model portfolios
• Monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks, conduct attribution analysis and recommend strategic and tactical asset allocation adjustments
• Provide investment advisory and execution support to Relationship Managers in managing and optimising client portfolios
• Conduct client portfolio reviews, seminars and presentations to promote investment strategies and product solutions
• Partner with Private Banking teams across APAC to support client acquisition and deepen existing client relationships

Requirements

• Proven experience within private banking, wealth management or investment advisory
• Strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction and investment products
• CACS certification preferred / required
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across APAC
• Proficiency in Mandarin to support Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders
