Job Description:
Teaching opportunities are available for 2026 academic year:
Ages 3 to 6 (Early Years to Lower Primary)
Ages 7 to 11 (Upper Primary)

You will play a key role in shaping a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional development of students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Create an engaging, reflective, and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to diverse learning needs, including EAL students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning and well-being.
  • Organise and maintain attractive, well-structured classroom spaces aligned with school guidelines.
  • Arrange and facilitate external learning experiences, including outdoor learning trips.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and behaviour, providing timely feedback and improvement goals.
  • Prepare and present class assemblies and year-level performances.
  • Contribute actively to the school’s Extracurricular Activities (ECA) programme.
  • Provide effective pastoral care and ensure student well-being.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and student safety, using positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Attend required staff meetings, training sessions, and school events (including occasional evenings and weekends).
  • Engage in continual professional development and participate in school improvement committees.
  • Work collaboratively with peers, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and strong communication skills.


Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably within an international school environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, plus a recognised teaching qualification (PGDE, PGCE, PGCEi, NIE Diploma, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Experience working with English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners.
  • Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum.
  • Familiarity with inquiry-based and subject-based learning approaches.
  • Ability to teach subject specialisations such as English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, or Creative Arts across year levels.
  • Strong motivation to work with young learners and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Emotional resilience and empathy in managing student needs and behaviours.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cultural awareness, with the ability to thrive in a diverse international school community.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using technology and digital learning tools.
  • Collaborative team player with a generous, positive spirit.
  • Willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including trips and activities.
