- Stay updated with emerging design trends, materials, workplace innovations, sustainability solutions, and construction technologies relevant to commercial and retail interiors.
Design Management & Coordination
- Oversee the full design process—from concept and schematic development to detailed design and execution.
- Review and manage design deliverables (shop drawings, technical submissions, and specifications) prepared by contractors and consultants.
- Ensure interior design is seamlessly integrated with architectural, structural, and MEP services.
- Maintain design quality, compliance, and consistency across multiple projects.
- Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive, solution oriented feedback.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with project managers, workplace design lead and stakeholders to align design solutions with business and operational needs.
- Collaborate with external consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure accurate implementation of design intent.
Quality Assurance & Site Engagement
- Attend factory visits, material reviews, and mock up inspections to validate quality and compliance.
- Participate in site meetings, design coordination sessions, and progress inspections to ensure design intent is properly executed.
- Uphold design standards, best practices, and corporate guidelines across all project stages.

- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of BIM/Revit is advantageous.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in commercial office fit outs and retail fit outs, preferably within a corporate or consulting environment.
