Job Summary

Our client seeks an Accountant with expertise in intercompany transactions and daily book keeping to support operations across South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. You will collaborate with the global finance team to manage multi-country financial processes and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute all global intercompany transactions including journal entries, invoices, and bills to ensure accurate financial records and correct cost centre allocations
  • Perform daily operational bookkeeping across multiple countries, currencies, and cost centres to maintain up-to-date financial data
  • Reconcile intercompany balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies to uphold financial integrity for all entities
  • Support month-end closing processes by assisting bookkeepers and reviewing management accounts to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Conduct ad-hoc bookkeeping tasks as required to support the finance team’s operational needs
  • Utilize ERP systems to record and track bookkeeping activities, enhancing data accuracy and process efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate financial activities and resolve issues promptly

Required competencies and certifications

  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Proven experience handling intercompany transactions including journal entries, invoices, and bills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-cost centre environments
  • Proficiency in ERP systems for bookkeeping and financial record management
  • Experience supporting month-end closing processes and reviewing management accounts

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills applied to coordinate with global finance teams and support operational workflows
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines efficiently
