Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for Unix/Linux operating systems and associated technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues on Linux systems.
• Perform system administration tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers.
• Manage virtualization technologies, Shared Ethernet Adapter (SEA), PowerVM Virtual I/O Server (VIOS), HACMP, and others.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and reliability.
• Manage and execute patching processes on AIX systems using BigFix to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate AIX systems into the overall IT infrastructure.
• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Linux systems and configurations.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or any other field
• Min 5 years of experience managing complex Unix/Linux/AIX environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating system and virtualization technologies (Vmware, PowerVM VIOS, HACMP).
• Experience with BigFix patch management for AIX systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Relevant certification such as Redhat Certified is highly preferred.
