Job Description:

  • Source, screen and interview candidates for operational roles using a mix of recruitment portals, agencies, and social media
  • Responsible for the onboarding experience of the new hires, includingthe preparation of employment contracts, issuance of PPE, designing and conducting orientations
  • Handle all employee status changes (promotion, transfers, and salary adjustments) and maintain digital records
  • Coordinate with line managers to track new hire performance to ensure high retention
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a diverse workforce for basic grievance and conflict resolutions
  • Monitor the manpower quota for work pass management
  • Owns the work pass administration processes (applications, renewals, and cancellations)
  • Manage all applications and updates on statutory portals
  • Source and arrange for internal and external training and track expiry dates for certifications (Food Safety, First Aid, etc.)
  • Claim training grants via related portals to optimise the HR budget
  • Plan and execute engagement activities for a diverse and multicultural workforce
  • Handle the exit management process with high confidentiality and conduct exit interviews to track trends
  • Maintain a meticulously updated HRIS database
  • Generate comprehensive monthly reports (Headcount, Attrition, Absenteeism, Overtime trends) to assist in strategic HRBP sessions
  • Proactively identify "pain points" in current workflows and suggest forward-thinking solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum three years of generalist HR experience
  • Deep familiarity with the Singapore Employment Act and all MOM work pass regulations
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working in a 24/7 manufacturing environment where abrupt issues may occasionally require your attention
  • Proficiency in HR data analysis and reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • IHRP-CA certification is advantageous
