Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire recruitment process while collaborating with line managers to identify hiring needs across various levels.

• Publish job openings on various advertisement platforms and job portals, and track application data using spreadsheets.

• Conduct candidate interviews, perform evaluations, handle background checks, negotiate salaries, and extend offers to selected candidates.

• Organize recruitment activities and events to attract top talent.

• Manage the complete employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring all records are accurately updated in the HRIS system.

• Administer work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations while liaising with government agencies as required.

• Process payroll activities, including income tax returns and CPF submissions, ensuring timely submission of all related claims.

• Support annual review processes, including performance evaluations, salary review, and bonus calculations.

• Oversee the administration and renewal of employee benefit programs.

• Collaborate with Regional HR to facilitate internal mobility in compliance with regional policies.

• Drive training and development initiatives, including training needs analysis and processing of funding requests.

• Assist in enforcing HR policies and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.

• Serve as the main contact point for employees’ general inquiries and requests.

• Undertake any additional ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience from Financial Services/ Banking industry are preferred

• Experience with in-house payroll processing, including tax returns.

• Resourceful and meticulous, with demonstrated teamwork and a positive attitude in fast-paced environments.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel; knowledge of TimeSoft or Workday is a plus.

• Awareness of CEP/CPD training requirements is advantageous.
