About the Role

We are looking for a capable and grounded HR professional to partner with the CEO and management team in strengthening people management, workplace practices and organisational effectiveness.

This role suits someone who is hands‑on, confident in engaging employees on the ground, and able to translate management expectations into clear, practical HR guidance. You will support the company through its next phase of development by bringing consistency, clarity, and professionalism to how people are managed.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnering

  • Work closely with the CEO and Managers/Business Unit Heads to support people‑related decisions and initiatives.
  • Provide practical HR advice that balances business needs, employee realities, and compliance requirements.
  • Support managers in handling performance, conduct, attendance, and employee relations matters.

Employee Relations & Workforce Management

  • Manage day‑to‑day employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Build trust with employees across all levels, including site‑based and operational teams.
  • Ensure consistent and fair application of HR policies and employment practices.

Communication & Change Support

  • Support management in communicating expectations, changes, and decisions clearly to employees.
  • Act as a visible and approachable HR presence on the ground.
  • Help reinforce agreed ways of working and behavioural standards across the organisation.

Core HR Operations

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and basic workforce planning activities.
  • Review, implement and maintain HR policies, frameworks, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation and relevant industry requirements.
  • Maintain HR records and support accurate reporting.

Requirements

Experience

  • Approximately 6–10 years of HR experience, with exposure to a broad range of HR functions.
  • Prior experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing or other operational / blue‑collar environments is strongly preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience handling employee relations matters independently.

  • Practical and approachable, with the confidence to engage employees and managers directly.
  • Clear communicator who can explain policies and expectations simply and calmly.
  • Able to operate in a less structured environment and exercise sound judgement.
  • Resilient, professional and fair‑minded, with the ability to manage sensitive or contentious situations objectively.
  • Professional and polished in communication and conduct, projecting maturity and credibility when dealing with employees, managers and senior leaders.
  • Composed and steady under pressure, able to handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion, tact and consistency.
  • Confident, credible presence that helps reinforce expectations, boundaries and organisational standards across the workforce.
