Our client is a global energy trading firm in the process of establishing its trading entity in Singapore. They are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support this setup. This role requires strong operational HR capabilities and the ability to partner closely with business leaders in a fast-paced, high-performance trading environment.

Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR Manager will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, including employee lifecycle management, recruitment and onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, performance management support, and employee relations. The role will ensure compliance with local employment laws and internal policies, support audits and expatriate administration where applicable, and act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders. In addition, the incumbent will contribute to HR process improvements and drive people initiatives aligned with business needs within a dynamic oil & gas trading environment.

Requirements
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of relevant HR operations and HR business partnering experience, preferably within the oil & gas or commodities trading sector. Strong knowledge of employment legislation, experience operating in lean and fast-paced environments, and a high level of attention to detail and confidentiality are essential. The candidate should possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills; professional HR certification will be an added advantage.
