Job Description

Operate vacuum furnaces to perform heat-treat and brazing operations.
Maintain heat-treatment logs for all furnaces and parts.
Perform a variety of duties to inspect, plan, set up, mask, and spray parts to meet production requirements.
Mask and/or grit blast parts to prepare for coating.
Use judgment in determining proper flow and speed of spray for the best results and compliance with all specifications.
Use various instruments to measure incoming and final coating thickness after plasma spray.
Perform TPM check on machines.
Operate Multi-coat and 9MC plasma machines, spray Plasma, HVOF, Flame and TAFA coatings and troubleshoot and replace gun spares when necessary.
Learn and operate other shared services operation such as Water Jet, Shot-Peen and Glass Bead Peening operation.
Update Plasma log-book and prepare lab coupon submission form.
Follow work instructions, comply with all quality requirements and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.
Complete production paper work and systems transactions.
Operate Stacker to move Heat Treat fixtures, Chemical Containers, Waste IBC tanks & coolant/oil drums and blasting media in pallets.
