Lead the IT function to develop and implement the school’s technology strategy, ensuring IT services and infrastructure effectively support educational and administrative operations. Oversee IT systems, manage the IT team, and drive technology integration across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Network & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
• Manage network resources including internet, Wi-Fi, and internal communications.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect data and IT assets.

IT Applications Management

• Manage deployment and maintenance of educational and administrative software.
• Ensure integration of IT applications to enhance productivity and user experience.
• Oversee website and online learning platform development and maintenance.

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering professional growth.
• Manage IT department budget and resources.
• Collaborate with staff to understand and address IT needs.

Technical Support & Training

• Oversee technical support for staff, students, and parents.
• Develop and deliver IT training programs to enhance digital literacy.
• Maintain helpdesk systems for efficient issue tracking and resolution.

Compliance & Data Management

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and school policies.
• Oversee data storage, backup, and recovery processes.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Manage IT vendors and service providers for quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders including regulatory bodies and technology partners.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT management, preferably in education or similar sectors.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT applications.
• Leadership and team management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with systems such as Seesaw, iSAMS, or SchoolsBuddy is a plus.
