Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior professional to lead our Client Services team. The team is responsible for onboarding new clients, supporting existing clients, and maintaining strong client relationships.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients as well as internal teams such as Sales, Operations, and Technology on a regular basis. The role includes managing the Client Services team, overseeing day-to-day functions such as training, performance management, coaching, and mentorship, and ensuring the design and delivery of training programs aligned with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end client onboarding process across all product offerings for retail, institutional, and corporate clients.
• Ensure all onboarding activities comply with international tax and regulatory obligations, including FATCA, CRS, and QI requirements.
• Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure full compliance with relevant laws and regulatory expectations.
• Lead the periodic review of client accounts (e.g. Annual KYC, SIP eligibility assessments) and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Manage and resolve exceptions or issues raised during onboarding or review processes by coordinating with relevant internal teams.
• Educate and communicate with both clients and internal stakeholders on changes to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in the client support and onboarding model, focusing on efficiency, automation, and straight-through processing.
• Participate in and manage projects, including the introduction of new regulatory or process initiatives.
• Provide leadership in the delivery of training related to KYC and onboarding requirements across the organization.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, operational and client facing role.
• Significant first-hand experience on onboarding of clients and connecting with a diverse set of clients.
• Excellent people skills and calm under pressure particularly with clients.
• Knowledge of the brokerage business and basic understanding of various financial products. E.g Contract for Difference, Futures & Options, Equities, Leverage FX.
• Knowledge of industry rules and regulations, as well as common industry wide business practices.
• Strong in project planning and implementation, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge on FATCA, QI, CRS and AML requirements
• Experience in interfacing with MAS and FIDReC.
