Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and strategically minded Head of Admissions to lead the admissions function and drive student enrolment across all school divisions in an international school setting. The successful candidate will oversee the full admissions cycle, manage the admissions team, and ensure that every prospective family receives an exceptional, personalised, and seamless admissions experience. This role requires strong leadership, sales acumen, and the ability to work effectively with families and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Admissions team to achieve enrolment targets and deliver high-quality service.

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.

• Set team objectives, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvements.

• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to uphold consistent and excellent admissions practices.

2. Admissions Strategy & Enrolment Management

• Develop and execute admissions strategies to achieve student recruitment goals across all school levels.

• Oversee and refine admissions workflows to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with policies.

• Analyse admissions data, market trends, and conversion metrics to drive decision-making and optimise the enrolment pipeline.

3. Relationship Building & Sales Management

• Serve as the main point of contact for prospective families, ensuring a warm, professional, and persuasive admissions experience.

• Apply a sales-driven approach to guide families through the decision-making and enrolment process.

• Build strong relationships with families, understand their needs, and clearly communicate the school’s value proposition.

4. Admissions Process Oversight

• Oversee the entire admissions process—from inquiry management to application review, assessments, acceptance, and onboarding.

• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with school standards.

• Coordinate student assessments, interviews, and placement decisions.

5. Admissions Events & Community Engagement

• Plan and execute admissions events such as open houses, school tours, orientations, and community outreach activities.

• Represent the school at education fairs, conferences, and community events to strengthen visibility and recruitment opportunities.

6. Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate admissions records within the CRM or admissions database.

• Track and report admissions statistics, conversion rates, and enrolment trends to senior leadership.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with the Marketing team to align promotional activities with admissions goals.

• Collaborate with academic teams on assessments, programme placement, and alignment of admissions with academic expectations.

• Partner with Finance, Administration, and other departments to facilitate smooth enrolment and onboarding.

8. Brand Ambassadorship

• Represent and uphold the school’s mission, values, and unique strengths to prospective families and external stakeholders.

• Ensure the admissions team consistently portrays a positive and professional image of the school.
