Job Summary

The Head, CENTRO leads overall operations, commercial performance, brand development, and expansion across multiple CENTRO locations, driving growth through strategic leadership of dining, events, marketing, and financial management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee CENTRO operations across multiple sites, including restaurant, café, bar, grab and go, in-theatre dining, events, and private functions to ensure consistent service standards and operational excellence
• Manage revenue streams by monitoring sales performance, controlling costs, and optimizing margins to maximize profitability across all CENTRO outlets
• Collaborate with finance and senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, pricing strategies, and conduct performance reviews for continuous commercial improvement
• Identify and implement strategies to increase spend per guest, repeat visits, event revenue, corporate bookings, partnerships, and cross-selling opportunities with Shaw Theatres
• Recruit, train, and develop the CENTRO team to build a high-performing workforce aligned with business goals
• Coordinate marketing efforts and partnerships to enhance CENTRO brand awareness, increase footfall, and drive sales through campaigns, promotions, private event packages, cinema tie-ins, and seasonal activations
• Ensure consistent brand positioning and customer experience across all locations and touchpoints
• Lead new site launches and support logistics, staffing, and operational readiness during key trading periods, events, and peak business times
• Work collaboratively across operations, marketing, finance, events, partnerships, and senior management to support business growth and system development

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in F&B, hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, events, venue management, or integrated destination operations
• 3 to 5 years in senior leadership managing multi-outlet operations, flagship venues, or concepts with multiple revenue streams
• Strong knowledge of restaurant, café, bar, grab and go, event, and service operations
• Experience in cinema, entertainment venues, hotels, private clubs, lifestyle or cultural venues, event spaces, or destination concepts is advantageous
• Proven ability to manage daily operations, teams, vendors, budgets, revenue targets, and guest experience
• Commercial acumen with experience managing sales, costs, margins, and profitability
• Experience developing events, partnerships, private functions, activations, or venue programming
• Leadership skills including hiring, training, rostering, performance management, and team development
• Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work hands-on and be present during key trading periods, events, launches, and peak business times
• Adaptability to work in a growing business environment with evolving systems, standards, and structures
• Good understanding of the Singapore F&B, lifestyle, and entertainment market
