About the role
This role provides the Trainee an exposure to the Private Bank business. This role is a support function working closely with the Client Service Management team, reporting into the Group Private Bank Head. The job will enable the Trainee to understand the business processes, governance and control as well as partake in various forums to promote work efficiencies. The Trainee will be tested on organisational and interpersonal skills working in close collaboration with teammates as well as business partners to get the jobs done. In addition, the Trainee will also be involved in the planning of activities and events for Assistant Relationship Managers, to promote staff engagement, collaboration and fun at work.
Job Responsibility
Partnering the key support staff from the team, this role focuses on key areas :
- The Trainee will be championing process improvement activities to boost work efficiencies supporting the Private Bank platform. This includes the bau activities as well as projects / initiatives and the Trainee will be included in various meetings and forums
- Supports the team of Client Service Managers in preparation of reports, presentations slides, collation and tracking of data with specific focus on control items as per the Front Office Dashboard
- Work closely with the Head of Client Service Management team to fulfil the various key priorities, projects/initiatives, consolidating and coordinating data, preparation of slides and organising staff events.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business or a related field.
- Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- Good communication skills in order to relate to colleagues within the team as well as business partners
- Good analytical skills to be able to comprehend the data collated to identify trending and observations
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
