About the role

As part of the traineeship, trainee will get to conduct in-depth analytical research into investment trends and themes around both traditional and alternative strategies (including cryptocurrency).

The analyst trainee will be required to:

• Conduct fundamental research on global cross-asset classes (fixed income, alternatives, cryptocurrency)
• Identify long-term thematic investment ideas and provide actionable recommendations
• Assist in the construction and maintenance of macro databases
• Assist in the creation of presentation slides
• Assist in matters relating to investment communications

Job Responsibility

• Research and collate market information to provide content matter and analyses.
• Prepare materials on thematic trends
• Use analytics and data from multiple providers (Bloomberg, Pitchbook etc) for investment analyses

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Some knowledge of Bloomberg tools
• Knowledge and interest in cryptocurrencies preferred
