About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Country General Manager to lead our Singapore operations. This pivotal role drives revenue growth, business development, and profitability across courier companies, airlines, and freight forwarders. You will oversee customer relationships and expand our service portfolio, including clearance and delivery, transshipments, and line haul operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute strategies to grow market share and ensure profitability in a competitive logistics landscape.
• Operational Excellence: Manage end-to-end operations covering last-mile delivery, air/ground freight, warehousing, and hub activities.
• Financial Stewardship: Own the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Business Development: Identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, and lead RFQ/tender processes.
• Customer Experience: Guarantee service excellence with on-time delivery, reduced transit issues, and swift resolution of escalations.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to international trade, customs, and cross-border regulations.
• Team Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across operations, drivers, and administrative staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• With 10+ years in express logistics, freight forwarding, with strong air freight and cross-border trucking knowledge.
• Demonstrated success in senior management or business director roles within logistics or freight forwarding.
• Skilled in monitoring KPIs, analyzing market trends, and driving operational efficiency.
