Responsibility:

• Planning, organizing and supervising the activities of the Technical Department, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to address identified risks.

• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the Management System.

• Ensuring the effective and consistent implementation of the Management System.

• Contributing to the development of new procedures and the revision of existing ones.

• Promoting and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

• Monitoring and verifying that the Management System is properly implemented on board vessels.

• Strengthening and promoting a strong safety culture, as well as environmental and energy awareness within the department

• Ensuring that vessels under full management operate in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner;

• Participating in the recruitment and interview process for new Technical Superintendents together with Top Management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of three (3) years’ tenure within the organization as a Technical Superintendent or in a managerial capacity.

• Strong proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken.

• Demonstrated leadership, coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.

• Thorough understanding of the marine industry, including relevant Rules and Regulations.

• Robust technical expertise applicable to the vessels within the fleet.
