Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor and supervise subcontractors' work according to shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.
Liaise with authorities, subcontractors, or clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples.
Review fire protection design drawings for compliance with specifications (Sprinkler System, Fire Alarm System, Hosereel System, Wet/Dry Riser System, Fire Hydrant System, Fireman Intercom System).
Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.
Manage and execute projects according to schedule.
Attend meetings with contractors to address issues and update progress.
Review drawings and specifications for compliance.
Allocate work to supervisors, ensuring standards and SOP compliance.
Plan and lead testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.
Follow up on inspections, defect rectifications, and maintenance during DLP.
Plan and prepare OMM, training, and as-built drawings for handover.

Education/Experience/Special Skills

Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
5 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in MS Office.
Good communication and writing skills.
Experience in Water Mist or foam systems is an advantage.
Independent worker with good interpersonal skills.
