Lico Resources is partnering with a well-established financial institution recognised for its disciplined reporting practices and strong internal controls. As part of ongoing enhancements to group finance operations, the organisation is looking to appoint an AVP, Group Financial Reporting to join its team in Singapore.

This position offers mid-level finance professionals an opportunity to deepen their experience in consolidation, external financial disclosures, and reporting systems. The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering timely and accurate reports for stakeholders, while supporting continuous improvements across reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the group and its entities, ensuring alignment with IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Support the end-to-end process for quarterly and annual financial reporting, including preparation of disclosures and supporting materials for market announcements.

• Coordinate audit-related matters, including documentation preparation and resolution of queries from external auditors.

• Contribute to the preparation of annual report content, ensuring consistency, clarity, and compliance with disclosure standards.

• Provide assistance in valuation work and accounting treatment reviews required for group reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the functionality and accuracy of reporting systems and tools.

• Participate in process optimisation initiatives, identifying opportunities to automate manual steps and improve workflow efficiency.

• Maintain clear and well-documented reporting procedures and ensure high standards of data integrity.

Qualifications

Essential:

• A recognised degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.

• 6–9 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to group consolidation and financial reporting in a corporate or financial services setting.

• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and financial disclosure requirements for listed entities.

• Prior involvement in SGX reporting cycles and experience managing deliverables for audits.

• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under time constraints.

• Familiar with enterprise financial systems such as SAP or Oracle, and strong Excel skills.

Preferred:

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA.

• Audit experience from a Big 4 accounting firm.

• Exposure to financial reporting process improvements or basic automation tools.
