The Field Operations Engineer is responsible for leading and coordinating a team of mobile service technicians to ensure timely, high-quality completion of work orders. The role ensures operational efficiency, compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and accurate documentation in PFMS or other workflow systems.

Supervision & Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of mobile service technicians.
• Assign and monitor work orders (WO) to ensure timely completion.
• Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to technicians.

Operational Oversight

• Ensure all work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities are properly documented in PFMS or relevant systems
• Review and approve technician reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules and optimize technician routes for efficiency.

Technical Support

• Provide troubleshooting assistance for complex mobile equipment issues.
• Ensure proper use of tools, diagnostic equipment, and mobile service vehicles.
• Maintain knowledge of mobile systems, devices, and industry standards.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with vendors and service request stakeholders (SRS, L1, EV focal persons, etc.) to resolve escalations.
• Consolidate updates and reports for vendor performance tracking.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service timelines and outcomes.

Compliance & Safety

• Enforce adherence to SLA requirements and company policies.
• Conduct risk assessments (e.g., JHA, FMEA, Bow-Tie) for mobile operations.
• Ensure technicians follow safety protocols during fieldwork.

Job Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years working experience in similar role
• Adaptable to fast-paced, long working hours
• Positive work attitude with good initiative and team work spirit, and able to work independently with minimum supervision
