Job Description

📍 West Area (Company transport provided from/to Joo Koon MRT)

The Facility Officer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair and upkeep of warehouse and office facilities to ensure smooth daily operations. The role involves coordinating contractors, managing preventive maintenance schedules, attending to facility breakdowns and supporting workplace safety and improvement initiatives.

Job Description

  • Liaise with the Compliance & Facility GM in planning and scheduling facility repair and maintenance activities.

  • Carry out repair and replacement works for Mechanical, Electrical and Civil systems, including CCTV, air-conditioning, lighting and power systems, plumbing and sanitary systems.

  • Coordinate and supervise contractors for facility-related services such as air-conditioning, lift maintenance, pest control, grass cutting and equipment servicing.

  • Source and evaluate suitable contractors and suppliers to support maintenance and upgrading works across warehouses.

  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure proper maintenance standards, safety compliance and timely completion of subcontracted works.

  • Respond promptly to facility breakdowns, fault calls and maintenance issues, and follow up on rectification works.

  • Maintain and update preventive maintenance schedules and equipment maintenance records for M&E systems and facility equipment.

  • Support EHS, housekeeping and workplace improvement initiatives together with internal departments and committees.

  • Prepare maintenance reports and work progress updates for Management review.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma / NITEC in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant facility maintenance experience preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of M&E systems, air-conditioning, plumbing and building maintenance works.

  • Able to coordinate contractors and manage maintenance schedules effectively.

  • Responsible, hands-on and able to work independently.

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
