Job Description
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: On standby for emergency activation, incidents, or urgent operational support if required.
The Facilities cum Dormitory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and condition of dormitory and site facilities, as well as managing the welfare, discipline, and accommodation of dormitory residents. The role ensures facilities and dormitory operations comply with MOM requirements, safety regulations, and company policies while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment. This role suits a hands-on supervisor who is organized, responsible, and comfortable in assisting the Facility cum Dormitory Manager, managing both facilities matters and foreign worker accommodation.
Job Description
1. Facilities Management
- Oversee daily operation and maintenance of dormitory and site facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms, common areas, and equipment.
- Report defects and follow up on repair and maintenance works.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal maintenance teams.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of facilities.
- Assist in utility monitoring and control (water, electricity, usage issues).
2. Dormitory Operations & Resident Management
- Supervise daily dormitory activities and enforce house rules.
- Conduct room checks to ensure cleanliness and discipline.
- Manage residents’ welfare, feedback, and complaints.
- Handle discipline issues firmly and fairly.
- Assist residents during emergencies and welfare matters.
- Help to fill out incident reports for injuries, theft, damage, fights, etc.
3. Safety, Health & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with MOM dormitory, safety, and fire safety requirements.
- Carry out routine safety checks and inspections.
- Assist during MOM, audit, or internal inspections.
- Support implementation of health, safety, and infectious disease control measures.
4. Administration & Coordination
- Maintain facilities and dormitory records and reports.
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, Security, and cleaning staff.
- Support occupancy tracking, room allocation, and movement records.
- Provide administrative support as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ Levels or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant experience in facilities, dormitory, site, or worker supervision.
- Experience managing foreign workers preferred.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance and safety practices.
- Good communication and people handling skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and reliable.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.
- Basic computer skills (Word / Excel).
