The employer is the private residence of one of Asia’s leading entrepreneurs. He is a highly respected regional business leader and the chairman of a multi-billion-dollar business conglomerate in SE Asia. The extended family consists of children and grandchildren.

Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of the private kitchen of one of Asia’s most prominent business families. This role requires a chef of the high calibre—someone who has worked with top-tier Chinese restaurants or five-star hotels.
He/She must be highly experienced in Vegetarian, preferably Chinese Vegetarian, and Gluten-Free cuisines.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for designing, preparing, and executing daily meals tailored to the employer’s refined tastes, nutritional needs, and lifestyle preferences. The role demand creativity, precision, and meticulous consistency. The chef must demonstrate a deep understanding the highest standards of food quality and safety, especially related to gluten and other allergens.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate mastery of Chinese gastronomy while also possessing versatility across Asian and international cuisines. He/She should maintain a network of premium suppliers and be adept at sourcing the finest ingredients across continents. Experience in designing menus for health-focused, performance-oriented, or bespoke dietary programmes is an advantage.
Operational responsibilities include managing a small skilled kitchen team, maintaining impeccable hygiene and safety standards, overseeing inventory and procurement, and ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality. The Executive Chef must also demonstrate discretion, loyalty, and the ability to work in an elite family environment that demands absolute confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Experience as Executive Chef/Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef in major luxury hotels or top-tier restaurants
- Strong culinary versatility across Chinese/Asian and global cuisines
- Expertise in Chinese Vegetarian and Gluten-Free cuisines.
- Exceptional professionalism, discretion and interpersonal skills.
