• Position Title: Engineering Technician
• Working Location: Tuas (Company transport provided)
• Working Hours: 5.5 Days, Mon – Fri (8am – 5pm), Sat (8am – 12pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport Allowance + OT + AWS
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for incineration and thermal systems, air pollution control equipment, utilities, and lab /testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults to restore equipment performance.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly to reduce plant downtime.
• Support engineers with equipment installation, modification, commissioning, and plant upgrade/ expansion projects.
• Assist with trial runs, performance testing, and system verification to confirm readiness and performance.
• Coordinate and support contractors during site works, ensuring compliance with EMM safety requirements.
• Provide technical support to operations during furnace start-up/ shutdown/ ramp-up, process alarms, and equipment changeovers.
• Maintain EHS compliance and documentation by following RA/ SOPs/ 5S standards, reporting incidents, supporting audits, and updating maintenance logs and records.
• Additional duties as required.

• ITE or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an industrial plant setting (e.g., waste treatment, energy, chemical, or heavy equipment).
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Hands-on with tools and instruments, with strong troubleshooting/ problem-solving skills and a safety-focused mindset.
• Willing to respond to urgent plant issues and learn new systems.
• Knowledge of safety systems and industrial standards is an advantage.
