Job Responsibilities

• Develop design documentation as per Deliverable List eg Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Drawings, System Layouts, Equipment and Instrumentation data sheets
• Involved in preparation of tender document and tendering activities (tender preparation, tender interview / clarification meetings, evaluate proposals submissions and Tender Recommendation Report preparation);
• Perform engineering reviews on vendor documentation to ensure compliance and completeness in technical scope;
• Brief Process Supervisors on the project scope and ensure system complete on schedule; 
• Interface: 
• Design Phase: Design Manager, Lead/Senior Process Engineer, Other Discipline Package Owner/s
• Project Execution Phase: Project Manager, Safety, Quality Assurance/Quality Compliance, Commissioning Manager, Process Supervisor, Other Discipline Package Owner/s.
• Assist Lead/Senior Engineer/s in budgeting and cost estimations for projects;
• Assist Quality Assurance/Quality Compliance Manager/Senior Engineer/s in Site acceptance Test and Inspection Qualification;
• Assist Commissioning Manager in system start-up, testing and commissioning and system turnover to client;
• Promote safe work practices;
• Ad hoc duties as determined by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering
• Diploma holders with additional 2 - 3 years’ experience unless equated with professional certifications
• Type of experience: Experience in design and/or construction in either Deionized/Ultrapure Water or Wastewater or Chemical or Gas Systems
• Understanding of Codes and Engineering Standards of International Clients
• Conversant in the use of design software
