Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical/Instrumentation Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of our projects.

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for potential works
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings (e.g., cable containment, lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection, ELV systems, etc.).
• Evaluate and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and ensure works are carried out within the approved budget.
• Handle cost control, contract administration, and change management.
• Assess and certify subcontractor claims and process payments.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and provide updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.
• Support the Project Team on contractual, commercial, and procurement matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/ Instrument Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
• Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties
• Proficient in MS Office (e.g Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Drafting knowledge using AutoCAD is an added advantage
