Key Responsibilities

• Support the Safety Officer in conducting incident investigations and recommending corrective actions

• Assist in facilities maintenance coordination and KPI reporting

• Administer and support safety planning and implementation

• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks on site activities

• Perform duties related to Fire Safety Management

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Act and related regulations

• Oversee enforcement of in-house safety rules and procedures

• Maintain proper documentation of safety records, incident reports, and statistics

• Coordinate renewal and validation of EHS-related licenses and mandatory certifications

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (Project Owners, HODs, Supervisors, HR) on safety matters

• Work with relevant authorities (e.g., NEA, PUB, MOM) on WSHE matters

• Promote workplace safety culture and employee well-being initiatives

• Provide updates on regulatory changes and safety developments

• Support ad-hoc projects and assignments as required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline

• Relevant experience in EHS/WSH functions within industrial, manufacturing, or project environments

• Knowledge of WSH Act and local regulatory requirements

• Fire Safety Manager certification will be advantageous

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Meticulous in documentation and compliance reporting
