St. Hilda's Community Services Centre is a voluntary welfare organisation. We are a Senior Care Centre with a Day Rehabilitative Centre and an independent Drop-In Centre serving the needs of the community in one of Singapore’s early housing estate in the locality of Tanjung Rhu and its surrounds.

Job Summary

You will safely transport elderly clients and staff to various locations, maintain the transport vehicle, and support the Centre’s daily transport needs with care and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive elderly clients safely to and from the Centre and to medical appointments at hospitals or polyclinics
• Transport staff to work-related functions including hospital or home visits, funeral wakes, and corporate events
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the transport vehicle to ensure readiness and safety
• Follow safety precautions consistently during all driving assignments to protect passengers and vehicle
• Respond promptly to transport requests to meet scheduling needs
• Cover driving duties for other drivers during their absence to maintain service continuity

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid driving license with a good driving record
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience, preferably with handicapped van operation
• Physically fit to perform driving and related duties

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Secondary education
• Interest in elderly and community work
• Ability to communicate effectively with elderly clients
