About the Company

Avelor Pte. Ltd. is a trading company engaged in the international sourcing, procurement, and distribution of textile materials, fabrics, yarns, and related products. The Company operates as a global trading hub connecting suppliers from regions such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and Taiwan with customers primarily across Asia, including India.

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead the Company’s overall business operations, financial management, and international trading activities. The role requires strong commercial acumen, financial expertise, and the ability to manage cross-border trade operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategic direction and business operations of the Company
• Manage international sourcing, supplier relationships, and customer development activities
• Oversee end-to-end trading operations including procurement, order fulfilment, and logistics coordination
• Drive business growth through market expansion and development of new trading opportunities
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring
• Ensure effective cash flow management and support working capital optimisation
• Negotiate commercial terms with international suppliers and business partners
• Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory, corporate governance, and trade requirements
• Develop and implement operational processes to support efficient cross-border trade execution
• Monitor business performance and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the supply chain

Requirements

• Strong experience in international trading, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations
• Background in finance, business management, or related disciplines preferred
• Proven experience in business leadership or senior management roles
• Strong understanding of cross-border trade and global supply chain processes
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international business environment
• Knowledge of trade compliance and regulatory requirements will be an advantage
