Job Description
We are looking for a Director for our restaurant operations. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee and manage the overall restaurant operations and business performance.
- Develop and implement business strategies to improve sales growth, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and brand awareness.
- Monitor daily restaurant operations to ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and customer service are consistently maintained.
- Lead, supervise, and provide operational guidance to management teams and employees.
- Manage budgeting, cost control, revenue performance, and financial planning of the business.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore food safety regulations, workplace safety requirements, licensing conditions, and company policies.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and vendors regarding purchasing, pricing, and inventory management.
- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and social media branding strategies to enhance business exposure.
- Handle customer feedback, complaints, and operational matters in a professional and timely manner.
- Review business performance reports and identify opportunities for business expansion and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and maintain effective teamwork between kitchen operations, service teams, and management staff.
- Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, staff scheduling, training, and employee performance management.
- Ensure proper implementation of standard operating procedures and quality control measures across all operational areas.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to long-term strategic planning of the company.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Vietnamese restaurant, food & beverage.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of Vietnamese restaurant operations, budgeting, and business development.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Singapore food hygiene, workplace safety, and licensing regulations is preferred.
- Experience in marketing, branding, and social media promotion will be an advantage.
- Able to coordinate with suppliers, customers, and operational teams professionally.
- Independent, responsible, and able to make business decisions efficiently.
- Must be willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours when required.
