Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PLASTIC MOLD DESIGNER & CNCPROGRAMMER: 

• Designing of plastic injection molds as per customer requirements & specifications.
• DFM preparation according to customer specifications.
• Highly proficient using Unigraphics (UG) NX9 and above.
• Develop and design engineered plastic parts, insert molded parts and assemblies.
• Work closely with CAM and MFG department to meet customer requirements
• Candidate will be responsible to Create CNC programs for 3 axis CNC milling machine
• Working & communicate with mold makers to make sure program data are able to be manufactured properly
• Improve programming process and procedures to optimize overall efficiency

Job Description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PLASTIC MOLD MAKER: 

• Assemble, dismantle and fabricate new plastics molds
• Perform milling, grinding and turning of mold inserts when fitting.
• Perform mold repairs and troubleshoot molding problems
• Perform in-process inspection of all mold components and work pieces ready for assembly.
• Interpret engineering drawings.
• Support and prioritize urgent job requirements as and when required.
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support and prioritize urgent requirements beyond call of duties (over-time).
• Provide feedback of staff performance to the Toolroom superintendent, senior supervisor or supervisor.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PLASTIC MACHINIST: 

·       Setup and Operate machineof CNC Mill, EDM, Wire Cut, ConventionalMill, Grinding machines as assigned.

·       Plastic injection mould inserts, jig / fixturesaccording and meeting drawing specifications and supports section department ontooling requirements.

• Ensure all in-house quality standards are met and completed on time.
• Perform in-process inspection during all stages based on job duties of fabrication per department quality standards and procedures.
• Support and prioritize urgent job requirements as and when required.
• Maintain housekeeping and adhere to safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support and prioritize urgent requirements beyond call of duties (over-time).
• Provide job feedback or clarification to the Toolroom supervisor or section Leader.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

·      Min. N / O level or anytechnical qualification in Precision Machining.

·      Diploma / HigherNitec (ITC) / Nitec (NTC 2 or NTC 3)in Mold or Tool               and Die Makingor Precision Machining.

·      At least 2-3 years ofworking experience in related field is required for this position.

·      Self-motivated and goodattitude toward superior instruction.

·      Detail oriented &proven ability to achieve goals.

·      Comfortable to work at Westarea, Jurong.

·      5 days work week.
