Role Summary:
We are seeking a DCIM System Specialist with strong knowledge of data center operations and hands-on experience (or familiarity) with DCIM platforms. The role involves configuring fault alerts, incident workflows, and ticketing systems, with a focus on power and cooling chain–based fault logic.

The successful candidate will translate data center operational knowledge into actionable rules and workflows within a DCIM system. Training on the DCIM software will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply end-to-end data center operational workflows, including power and cooling chain dependencies.

• Interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Maintenance Operating Procedures (MOPs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), and escalation processes.

• Define and configure fault alerts based on power and cooling chain topology.

• Configure incident workflows and ticketing within the DCIM system.

• Maintain and update DCIM software configurations, including asset topology, fault rules, and workflows.

• Collaborate with DCIM software vendors and data center operations teams to ensure alignment between system configuration and operational reality.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of data center operations, facilities management, or critical infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience configuring DCIM software (commercial experience is a plus).

• Good understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), Integrated BMS (IBMS), and Energy Management Systems (EMS).

• Familiarity with project management principles.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Training:

• On-the-job training for the specific DCIM software will be provided.
