Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Database Specialist with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in MS SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in T-SQL scripting, stored procedure development, and advanced performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Perform advanced query optimization and index tuning to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Analyze and interpret SQL Server execution plans to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor database health, proactively troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for reliability and availability.
• Develop and implement effective partitioning strategies for large datasets.
• Analyze and resolve locking, blocking, and deadlock issues to maintain optimal concurrency and throughput.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support database design, deployment, and maintenance.

Required Skills:

• 5–7 years of extensive experience with MS SQL Server.
• Expert in writing and optimizing T-SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Strong knowledge of query optimization, index design, and execution plan analysis.
• Proficient in database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with partitioning strategies and large-scale data management.
• In-depth understanding of locking, blocking, and deadlock analysis and resolution.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java/J2EE application development.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and big data processing.
• Background in data engineering, ETL pipelines, or distributed data systems.
