Job Description

We are a growing Singapore-based SME in the life sciences industry and are currently expanding our capabilities in data analytics and digital transformation.

We are seeking a Data Analyst to support data-driven decision making across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development, while helping improve data processes and supporting ongoing digital initiatives.

This role is offered on a 1-year contract with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collect, consolidate, and analyse data from multiple internal sources including sales, operations, and business performance data

• Develop and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and data models

• Prepare periodic reports and analysis to support management decision-making

• Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data

Business Support

• Work with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements

• Provide analytical support to business teams to improve operational performance

• Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)

Data Management

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness

• Support the maintenance and organisation of internal datasets

• Assist in improving data collection and data management processes

Digital Transformation

• Support initiatives related to data digitisation and reporting automation

• Improve existing Excel workflows and reporting efficiency

• Assist in the implementation of new analytics or business intelligence tools

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in data analysis, business analytics, or reporting roles

• Candidates with experience working with business data or operational reporting will be preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, dashboards)

• Experience with data cleaning and data preparation

• Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python will be an advantage

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good attention to detail and data accuracy

• Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced SME environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data visualisation or dashboard development

• Exposure to business process improvement or digital transformation initiatives

• Prior experience in life sciences, healthcare, or related industries is an advantage
