About the Role

We are hiring for two levels within the Airfreight Customer Service team:

• Customer Service Officer – suitable for candidates with basic airfreight exposure or those looking to grow in forwarding operations

• Customer Service Executive – suitable for experienced professionals who can manage shipments independently and support junior team members

Both roles are hands-on, customer-facing, and involve close coordination with airlines, customs, and internal operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end airfreight import and export shipments, including booking, documentation, coordination, billing, and job closure
• Act as a point of contact for customers, providing shipment updates and responding to enquiries
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, and customs authorities
• Monitor shipment progress to ensure compliance with service standards and timelines
• Resolve operational issues and escalate complex cases when required
• Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and documentation
• Support internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations

Additional scope for Customer Service Executive:
• Take ownership of more complex or urgent shipments
• Support and guide Customer Service Officers on procedures and workflows
• Assist in process improvement and service quality initiatives

Requirements

• Experience in airfreight forwarding customer service or operations
• Experience with CargoWise system is an advantage
