Job Summary

Lead and supervise civil and structural engineering activities on-site for a 2-storey F&B building, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements while proactively managing risks and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural engineering works on-site for a 2-storey building project to ensure project milestones are met
• Enforce rigorous safety standards on-site to maintain a safe working environment and prevent incidents
• Monitor construction quality to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and problems during construction to minimize project delays and cost overruns
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to coordinate activities and resolve site-related issues

Required competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Certified Resident Engineer by the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC), Singapore
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Resident Engineer in civil and structural engineering projects
• Demonstrate integrity, initiative, and strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and trust on-site
