Summary

The Coordinator (Delivery & Shipping) is responsible for assisting the supervisor to pick and pack the stores according to the quantities required by the end user, conduct stock taking and receiving of goods into the store.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect AWB/Bill of Lading from cargo handling agent.

• Prepare and send Declaration via Trade Net System Customs/TDB approval.

• Monitor, retrieve and print permits.

• Ensure all equipment are kept in operational readiness state at times.

• Check and verify consignment with Cargo Release Section staff.

• Request for Cargo Irregularities Report for discrepancies.

• Execute administered procedures in relation to delivery consignments.

• Return used permits to Customs/other government departments within the stipulated time.

• Liaise with the local airline representative on any discrepancies.

• Notify Customs Authority of irregularities/discrepancies on bonded items.

• Report any discrepancies immediately to his superior.

• Plan and conduct OJT for staff.

• Undertake any other duties assigned by immediate superior.

• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure

• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of experience

• Minimum N or O level / ITE

• Can carry heavy load

• Familiar with warehouse tools and operations
