Job Description
Job Title: Contract Staff – Scam Victim Management – 13 pax
Employment Type: Contract (12 months)
Contract Period: 1 May 2026 – 30 April 2027
Location: New Bridge Road
Gross Pay: S$4,000 per month depending on qualification and relevant working experience
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (42.5 hours/week)
Break Time: 1-hour lunch
Termination Notice: 1 Month
Candidate Requirements :
- Minimum Diploma or ‘A’ Levels qualification (candidates will be assessed based on a combination of qualifications, experience, and aptitude)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both spoken and written, for work-related tasks
- Ability to understand simple legal documents for work assignments
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications, and willingness to learn investigation management systems
- Adaptable to process changes and able to follow prescribed guidelines and SOPs
- Must not be subject to any ongoing criminal investigation and must not have been terminated from the Singapore Police Force or civil service
Job Scope:
- Serve as victim’s primary point of contact, addressing all queries and concerns from report lodgement to case conclusion through phone engagement and structured service replies
- Call victims to establish first contact within 3 hours of the report being lodged and submit critical scam-enabler information via ASC/ASCom Decision Authority (DA) Office for swift disruption
- Provide preventive advice to minimise risk of future victimisation
- Assess need to refer victims for counselling, social support, or issue a Restriction Order
- Provide timely updates on case progress, asset recovery, and case outcomes to victims
- Put up service replies (first interim, progress, and case conclusion) within stipulated timelines required by SPF
- Provide administrative support such as putting up production orders to request CCTV footage retrieval for cases involving ATM cash mules, document mules, and victim-turned mule investigations
- Perform any other administrative tasks directed by Head of Branch
