About the role

As a Contract Finance Officer at ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations. Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial accounting and reporting support on a contract basis. What you'll be doing

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for accounts payable, including Journal entries, Invoice recording and credit notes management
2. Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting for accounts payable
3. Perform vendor reconciliations
4. Exchange rate posting activities
5. Support the preparation of financial statements, supplier onboarding and banking forms
6. Attend to Internal & External audit queries
7. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Accounts payable financial processes and control
9. Any other ad-hoc related duties

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting
3. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounts payable and journal entries
4. Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications such as SAP ECC / S4HANA
5. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Good communication and interpersonal skills
