Job Description
We are looking for a creative, enterprising, and highly motivated Content Producer to join the CMG Creative Studio. As part of the CMG Branding and Marketing team, you will drive innovative content solutions to support branding and marketing strategies as well as produce branded/commercial-led content that appeal to young audiences via our platforms such as HeyKaki.
Responsibilities
Develop multi-platform Chinese content (video, print, audio, and social) that effectively informs, educates, and inspires audiences while delivering impactful commercial and branding solutions
Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of diverse digital initiatives, including but not limited to video tutorials, event launch videos, microsites, live streams and webinars
Conceptualise and create branded/commercial-led Chinese content for Gen Zs and young adults in both long form video and short form videos suitable for social media brands like HeyKaki
Craft relevant text and captions that goes with the social media posts, if any
Work closely with fellow producers, influencers, videographers and video editors to ideate, script, plan, film and edit videos
Liaise with clients on requirements and timelines and ensure projects are delivered on time
Basic editing of short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok
Stay updated on the latest social media trends, to understand what will appeal to young audiences and what content will perform well on social media
Uphold editorial and brand integrity, ensuring all branded/commercial collaborations align with the values and standards of CMG’s publication titles
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in relevant disciplines; at least 2 years of relevant working experience (please include your portfolio if available)
Effectively bilingual in written/spoken English and Chinese
Passionate in creating entertaining and informative Chinese content in different styles e.g. street interviews, talkshow, game shows, interviews etc
Fun-loving personality, highly creative with a sense of humour; Keen interest in trending topics, local social media content and Asian Entertainment
Basic knowledge in video editing (e.g: Capcut) and video production
Adept at using various social media platforms and content management systems, and aware of best practices to optimise performance
Highly organised self-starter, capable of managing multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
Ability to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment
Adaptable team player who can work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders
Flexibility to work on weekends when required by specific project schedules or events
