JOB DESCRIPTION

A growing hospitality investment platform with a high-value portfolio of international hotel assets across Asia and Europe is currently looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team.

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that the Business Trust and its Trustee-Manager follow MAS regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include handling the compliance needs for both real estate deals and hotel operations, specifically focusing on the Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and Business Trusts Act (BTA). The role includes managing CMS License requirements, handling regulatory filings, and updating internal policies for AML, CFT, and PDPA.

Additionally, you will provide critical oversight for cross-border regulatory alignment for overseas assets. This includes monitoring foreign investment limits, advising on the regulatory impact of new acquisitions or divestments, and managing data privacy frameworks (GDPR/PDPA) for guest and investor data. This is ahigh-impact role offering deep exposure to international capital markets and sophisticated asset management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, or Accountancy
• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance function within a MAS-regulated entity
• Strong understanding of the SFA, BTA, and Property Funds Appendix
• Proficient in AML/CFT standards and global data protection (PDPA/GDPR)
• High level of integrity and comfort working independently
• Ability to interpret complex regulations into actionable business advice
