About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Communications Executive to support AKC’s internal and external communications across corporate messaging, brand communications, and stakeholder engagement. This role will be responsible for developing communication materials, supporting public-facing content, and helping maintain a clear, professional, and consistent brand image across different platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication materials for internal and external use
• Support the company’s brand image and public communications efforts
• Prepare press releases, corporate write-ups, media materials, and presentations
• Work closely with management to align communications with business goals and target audiences
• Assist in drafting messaging for campaigns, announcements, and company updates
• Coordinate communication-related projects and support stakeholder engagement efforts
• Monitor industry trends, media mentions, and relevant developments
• Handle communication enquiries and support response coordination where needed
• Prepare briefing materials and presentation content for leadership

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Good organisational and project coordination abilities
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in messaging
• Experience in communications, content, public relations, or a related area is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation preparation
