About the Role

As a Commercial & Business Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the commercial team in driving business growth, market expansion, and operational excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across key functions such as sales, marketing, business development, and strategic planning. By taking the wheel, your proactive learning, critical thinking skills and collaborative engagement will contribute effectively to Hegen.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to projects within the Business Development and Trade Marketing pillars, supporting the execution of initiatives that enhance commercial effectiveness.
• Assist in the coordination of campaigns, events and partner activities, ensuring timely follow-through and quality delivery.
• Prepare and consolidate presentations, proposals, and reports that inform decision-making and team alignment.
• Conduct market and industry research, turning insights into recommendations that guide commercial initiatives.
• Provide logistical and operational support for commercial events such as the Distributor’s Summit and Mummy’s Market Baby Fair, gaining exposure to stakeholder engagement and large-scale event execution.
• Build working knowledge of commercial operations by supporting key processes and documentation.
• Take on additional assignments that broaden exposure and contribute to the department’s objectives.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, International Trade, Marketing or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable collaborating across departments
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn about commercial operations and trade marketing.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and ownership of assigned tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross-functional environment.
• Able to commit least 6 months for the internship duration.
