Job Responsibility:

• Involved in NPI (New Product Introduction). Responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of a product from the design and development phase into manufacturing. He shall work closely with our cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure our product is manufacturable, meets quality standards, and is cost-effective.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications. Understand GD&T and apply it during the programming process. Use of CAD to create part models and geometry as needed. Use of CAM programming on multi-axis mill-turn machines using MasterCam software. Use Cimco Edit for NC file verification prior to manufacturing release. Determine optimal tooling and cutting parameters based on material and setup.
• Understand and implement workholding for manufacturing processes. Routing and documents preparation for all FAI using Navision.
• Prepare work instruction (WI) for assembly parts. Work individually or as a team on continuous improvement efforts.
• Complete quality planning for projects. Work in a team environment.
• Maintain part hierarchy and drawing revision documentation. Create fixture and process drawings as necessary.
• Participate in performance improvement activities with manufacturing personnel. Follow standard operating procedures.
• Assign as MES (Machine Electronics System) Project Lead. He shall lead our team from various manufacturing process functions to oversee the implementation and management of MES solutions within manufacturing environments. This role ensures that MES projects align with organizational goals and are delivered on time and operate efficiently.

Job Requirement

• A diploma in mechanical engineering with 3-5 years of work experience is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal customers.
• Proficient in MASTERCAM software.
• Possess good written and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Knowledge in using MRP/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times.
