Job Description
The Opportunity
- Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to look for a IT Project Manager (Bank| Migrations)
- Starts off as 1 year contract
What the candidate will be doing
- Work directly with corporate clients to guide them through the migration to new banking services, payment channels, and SWIFT/ISO20022‑based formats.
- Conduct client briefings, training sessions, and advisory discussions to help customers understand changes to payment file formats, connectivity methods (file‑based/API), and operational impacts.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across Technology, Product, Operations, and Compliance to ensure smooth and timely client transition.
- Lead end‑to‑end migration activities including requirements clarification, data mapping, client UAT support, troubleshooting, and cutover coordination.
- Monitor migration progress, track issues, and drive swift resolution to minimize disruption to client operations.
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and management updates to ensure full visibility of migration status, risks, and upcoming milestones.
- Ensure data integrity and operational readiness throughout the migration process using best practices in project management and client delivery management.
Description
As a specialist to undertake project management and provide technical leadership to manage and execute the migration of existing clients to our new services, data requirements, specifications and platforms, ensuring seamless transition, data integrity and minimal disruption to client and business operations. The candidate will plan, conduct client training, provide client advisory and support client system testing and roll-out using best practice project management methodology. It will involve extensive collaboration with both external and internal stakeholders. The candidate must also be familiar with data extraction and transformation technology to generate operational and management reports to track the progress of the migration exercise. Experience with system integration technologies such as file-based and api-based, and knowledge in ISO20022, SWIFT and Payments will be an advantage. Effective communication skill is important.
