about the job
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and management of a Property & Casualty (P&C) portfolio. You will act as a primary point of contact for commercial clients, helping them navigate their insurance needs with professional advice and tailored solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Portfolio Growth: Identifying and developing new business opportunities to expand the firm’s commercial footprint.
Client Engagement: Building and maintaining professional relationships with prospective clients and industry partners.
Strategic Advice: Developing industry-specific value propositions and insurance strategies to meet the evolving needs of clients.
Presentations & Proposals: Representing the firm at client meetings and coordinating the preparation of professional business cases and tender proposals.
Market Representation: Participating in industry events and networking forums to represent the firm’s capabilities.
Governance: Ensuring all business activities are conducted in accordance with local regulatory requirements and company risk frameworks.

skills and experience required
Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent professional experience) with at least 5 years of experience in the commercial insurance sector, specifically in P&C.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to handle professional discussions and resolve complex queries effectively.
Analytical Thinking: A logical approach to problem-solving and the ability to evaluate client needs effectively.
Organization: The ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines within a professional environment.
Industry Knowledge: A practical understanding of the Singapore commercial insurance market and Property & Casualty lines.
Bonus Attribute: Prior experience or a certification in Project Management is highly regarded.
