Job Description
As a Client Advisor Associate, you will work alongside senior Client Advisors in a client-facing support capacity, gaining hands-on experience in investment execution, portfolio administration, and day-to-day relationship management.
Client Servicing and Administration
- Support Client Advisors and Team Heads with client onboarding, documentation, data entry, and post-meeting follow-ups.
- Prepare meeting materials, portfolio reports, investment proposals, and review packs.
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Maintain CRM data integrity and support administrative workflows.
- Coordinate calendars, travel schedules, and meeting logistics.
- Provide coverage during RM absences to ensure uninterrupted client support.
Business Management
- Liaise with compliance, legal, and operations for account onboarding and KYC processes.
- Track pipeline activity, prepare reports, and support internal communications.
- Assist in client events, pitchbooks, and business development efforts.
- Maintain high standards in administrative efficiency and documentation accuracy.
Investment Support and Development
- Learn core advisory principles and portfolio construction techniques.
- Assist in preparing market updates, asset allocation ideas, and product recommendations.
- Participate in internal investment forums and contribute to discussions.
Risk and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to MAS regulations and KGI internal risk and compliance standards.
- Escalate concerns or deficiencies in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Monitor account documentation, payment instructions, and client activity logs.
- Maintain ethical, compliant behaviour in all interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant certifications (e.g. CMFAS Modules).
- 2–4 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or client-facing financial services.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and comfort with fast-paced, multi-tasking environments.
- Fluent in English; additional regional language(s) an advantage.
